The Solution: Three Integration Paths, One Common Goal
Autonoma offers three integration types that can be combined based on your use case. Each can appear as a main integration in the app or be directly embedded within a specific asset.
1. 🌐 iFrame integration
Embed any web-based tool using a shared URL, either in the main app or directly inside an asset.

2. 🧱 Code integration (hosted by Autonoma)
- No additional effort for data connection - everything remains in the platform

- Ideal for separate login flows or complex user guidance
Best for: Tools with their own UI logic, session handling, or hosted environments you don’t want to embed
🛠️ Main & Asset Integration: Flexible Use
Whether iFrame, code or link – all integrations can appear as main menu items in the platform or be integrated contextually within individual assets.
All asset integrations are automatically exported when an asset is exported from Autonoma, including the embedded functions. And: access to integrations can be controlled based on roles – which is essential, especially in larger teams or when using partners.
A practical example: fewer clicks, more context
An Autonoma customer recently integrated a spare parts web store directly into its platform via iFrame – as a separate menu item, visible to all authorized users.
The idea behind it: Technicians and maintenance staff should be able to access the web store directly from the platform in order to order the required spare parts quickly and specifically – without having to change context or access external portals.
With Autonoma’s iFrame integration, the web store is fully embedded and immediately accessible to all authorized users – including search and order functionality. The solution is so seamless that for many, it feels like a native part of the platform.
